Advertisement for JRF position – DST SR/NM/NS – 77/2008
Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position to work in the Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored research project at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620 024.
Title of the Project: “Fabrication and Characterization of One dimensional
Semiconductor Nanostructures”
Duration : 18 months
Designation : JRF
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000+HRA/- for NET/GATE
Qualifications : M.Sc Physics/Applied Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry/
PG Nanotechnology or related subject with at least 55%
(NET/GATE qualified candidates preferable)
Application should be made on plain paper, giving Name, Address, Parent’s names, telephone no., e-mail address, date of birth, a recent photograph, details of academic qualifications (from class 10th onwards, with copies of all mark-sheets/ certificates, etc.) and a brief write up on previous research experience, if any. Applications should reach the undersigned on or before 18th July, 2011.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. For Non-GATE candidates Rs. 12,000/- will be fixed.
