On-line applications are invited from Indian nationals for empanelling them for engagement as Project Assistant/Project Associate at different levels depending on the current and future requirements of various projects. Details are given below.
(A) Project Assistant under Grant-in-Aid Projects (GAP):
Guidelines of the Funding Agency will be followed with respect to Designation and Remuneration.
Guidelines of CSIR Contract R&D Projects will be followed with respect to Age and Qualification.
If any parameter is not defined in the Project document, the nearest lower corresponding parameter spelt
out for Contract R&D Projects will be used.

## Remuneration will normally be fixed at the minimum of the range prescribed. However, a selected candidate may be placed at a higher stipend in the range for that level if there is ample justification and if recommendation for placement at a higher stipend is made by the Selection Committee and approved by the Director, CSIR-NML.
Note: Empanelled candidates may also be engaged in future CSIR network (NWP) Projects, if there is scope and requirement.
Terms & Conditions:
· Tenure of appointment in CSIR-NML under one or more projects will be co-terminus with the tenure of the respective projects or up to a maximum of 5 years, whichever is less.
· All the above positions are purely temporary and on contract basis. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for consideration/absorption against any NML/CSIR post.
· Hindi may be used as a medium of conversation during the interview.
· The Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance, and women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Only those candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee will be called for Interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be put up on our website
http://www.nmlindia.org. Candidates will also be intimated by e-mail regarding date, time and venue of the Interview.
While coming to attend the interview, candidates must bring with them a hard copy of their ON‑LINE application and a recent passport size photograph. Original and copies of certificates and relevant documentary evidence in support of their date of birth, qualifications, experience etc. must also be brought by the candidate at the time of the interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
