This is the final offer list of INSPIRE Fellows who are eligible to receive INSPIRE Fellowship under INSPIRE Program of DST. Students, who are First Rank holders in the University/Academic Institute Examination and have already taken admission in the PhD Program in a recognized University/Academic Institution in the country are listed here.
As per Fellowship Guidelines, DST is now taking appropriate action for releasing the Fellowships alongwith Contingencies to these Fellows through their host University/Academic Institution.
Sir, when is the provisional list for 2012 -2013 expected to release..It is necessary for mu phd admission..pls kindly reply

I had submitted application an all documents for inspire 2012-13 fellowship on 27 Feb 2012. As I got my rank certificate only on 5.3.2011 (convocation day) although I passed my Masters in 2010, I had applied mentioning the resons for delay. I have no response from DST, name not iin the first released lists. What should I do?

Now the INSPIRE selection result updated upto Month of May. You can check your names…And one more thing is * List will be updated time to time as and when applications are processed in the year 2012*. So don't worry if your name is not included. Wait…

My name is Payel Majumder. I am an applicant of inspire fellowship 2012-13.My M.Sc result was published on February 2011 but my academic session for M.Sc was 2008-2010.So my question is—-What is my pass out year- 2010 or 2011?Am I eligible or not for the fellowship?
With due respect I am Soumya Krishnan I have sent the application for the fellowship on March 22 2012. The list have come in May 2012, my name was no there in provisional list also and rejected list also.

If not join ph.d then apply for provisional selection . for that no need to join ph.d. In that case after joining ph.d within one year you should get ph.d admission.

I pursued M.Sc., Biotechnology and got Provisional selection in DST-INSPIRE Fellowship. I have applied for PhD., Registration in Dept., of Microbiology since I am Guide specific and interested in Microbial Biotechnology. But University asked me to join in Dept., of Biotechnology and insisting me to choose a Guide from Dept., of Biotechnology. In this regard, I would like to know the rule position that I can join in Dept., of Microbiology for PhD or not.
