About the Conference
The use of “light” is reshaping our world. Nanophotonics, the new emerging paradigm where the technology of mastering light merges with nanoscience and nanotechnology has become an important aspect of human endeavour. The light based applications are of great importance to the society and hence a broad understanding is needed in the research and applications of the nanophotonics. The purpose of NCNP 2014 is to provide a forum to review the most important and latest developments in the field of photonics and to exchange updated research achievements and future trends in applied Physics. The meeting will also enable the participants to interact with some of the best scientists of this field and also present their work, in the form of orals and posters.

The target group will be the young scientists, teachers, researchers and postgraduate students from the Universities, Colleges and other Research Institutions.
Abstract Submission
Authors are invited to submit the abstracts of original research paper for oral/poster presentations both in theoretical and experimental aspects on Nanophotonics. Abstract should not exceed 300 words in Times New Roman font with the following format. Title should be with the size of 14 pt bold. The authors and affiliation should be with the size of 12 pt italics. The content of the abstract should be in 12 pt with 1.5 pt line spacing. Full Paper Submission
Several funding agencies have been approached and based on the funding to be received, the selected papers will be published in a reputed journal as conference proceedings or as book volume with ISBN number. Details of full paper submission will be intimated to the selected participants at the time of the conference.

- Notification of Acceptance -22nd February, 2014
- Registration and Accommodation -28th February, 2014
- Young Researcher Award Nomination -28th February, 2014.
Registration Details
The registration fees include conference materials, lunch and tea. One registered participant can present only one paper in the conference. However he/she can be a coauthor of any number of papers.
Spot registration will not be entertained and the participants are requested to send the filled in registration form along with a DD on or before 28 February, 2014.
The DD should be taken in favor of NCNP-2014, payable at the State Bank of India, Bharathidasan University Branch, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.

As Bharathidasan University is located 15 kms away from Tiruchirappalli, modest accommodation will be provided to the registered outstation participants on prior request at nominal charges. Details of accommodation, location and charges will be updated shortly.
