Indian National Science Academy -INSA

The INSA was established in January 1935 with the objective of promoting science in India.

In the valedictory session of Leadership Development in Science and Technology (LEADS April-2024) Programme jointly organised by Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi & National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), Profesor Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India & Chief Guest of today's session graced the occasion with his words of wisdom. Prof. Karandikar focuses on the inclusivity, teamwork, sustainable leadership strategies, nation building, startup ecosystem in India and many other points of utmost importance. Professor Ashutosh Sharma, President INSA & Former Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has shared his views & background subject line in regard to organize such a week-long leadership development programme. His insights mesmerized the august gathering present in INSA Auditorium this afternoon. Shri Bharat Lal, Secretary General, NHRC & Former Director General NCGG, has also enlightened the audience with his valuable words & apprised Prof. Ashutosh Sharma about the successful conduction of this unique leadership development programme amongst scientists of the country. Dr. Brajesh Pandey, Executive Director INSA, presented a brief synopsis of all the lectures and activities took place since last one week & summarised the programme in short. She talked about key components of the scientific methodologies, data collection, statistical tools, data analysis & data interpretation too.
