0NLINE SUBMISSION INTERFACE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON 25TH AUGUST, 2011 ONWARDS
University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 1000 PG Scholarships under the scheme of PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC & ST candidates for the year 2010-2011 to undertake postgraduate level studies in professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. on regular basis only.
Only those candidates who have been admitted in postgraduate professional subjects at recognized universities/ colleges during the academic session 2010-11 are eligible to apply under the scheme.
Selection will be made on the basis of merit by an Expert Committee. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the scholarship, eligibility etc. may be seen by logging in the UGC website at: (www. ugc.ac.in)
Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through online mode latest by 25th September, 2011 (non extendable) by logging in website: www.ugc.ac.in/pgsprof
The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of scholarships shall be final.
NOTE-
1, Applications submitted only through online mode shall be entertained and no application submitted in hard copy shall be entertained or considered for award of scholarship in any circumstances whatsoever.
2. Record of the non-selected candidates shall not be preserved beyond three months from the date of declaration of results.
