POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES FOR 2013-14
University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 100 Fellowships under the scheme of “Post Doctoral Fellowship for Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Candidates” for the year 2013-2014. The objective of the scheme is to provide an opportunity to SC/ST candidatesto undertake advanced studies and research in Science, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges on full time basis.
Selection will be made on the basis of merit through Interface Modeby an Expert Committee constituted especially for the purpose. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the Fellowship, eligibility etc. may be seen by logging on the UGC website at (www.ugc.ac.in).
The University Grants Commission has recently revised the rate of fellowship, contingency & tenure under the scheme of Post Doctoral Fellowship for SC/ST candidates.
*The Selected candidates for the year 2010-11 onwards are not eligible for Departmental Assistance.
The applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through on line mode latest by 21February, 2014 (non extendable) by logging on to the website: www.ugc.ac.in/pdfss
On-line submission can be done from the date of uploading of the detailed advertisement.
The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of
Fellowships shall be final.
